Learn how to make Moong Dal Khasta Kachori at home
Khasta means "flaky" and this flaky kachori is filled with a appetizing moong dal mixture which is deep fried. It is an amazingly delicious and tempting snack recipe. So watch and learn how to make Khasta Kachori at home
Ingredients list for stuffing:
- Saunf Powder- 1Tbsp
- Moong Dal soaked-1 cup
- Jeera-1 tbsp
- Amchoor powder-1 tbsp
- Hing-a pinch
- Garam Masala-a pinch
- Red Chilly Powder- 1 tbsp
- Dhania powder-1 tbsp
- Chaat Masala- 1tbsp
- Besan- 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Ingredients list for dough:
Oil for frying
Oil for moiyn-1/4th cup
Maida- 2 cup
Water-3/4 cup
Salt to taste
How to:
- Grind dal for a coarse mixture
- Heat 2 tablespoon oil,then add jeera,hing,cook for 2 minutes,add grinded dal and cook till dal becomes dry
- Once dal becomes crispy,add masalas and cook for 5 minutes
- Knead a soft dough and cover with a damp cloth for 30 minutes
- Post 30 minutes take out small balls and roll them like a katori,place stuffing and seal the end
- Heat sufficient oil in a pan(moderate heat) for frying Kachori,cook Kachori on a slow flame,cook till crispy
