Ingredients:
- Ghee-2 tbsp
- Rice- 1cup
- Water- 2 cups
- Khade Masale-Jeera,Bay leaf,cinnamon,cardamom,red chilly,cloves and star anise
- Biryani masala-1 Tbsp
- Kitchen king- 1 Tbsp
- Garam masala- 1 tbsp
- Turmeric- 1 tbsp
- Red Chilly Powder-1 tbsp
- Food colors- a pinch
- Veggies- Onions,Capsicum and Carrots
- Salt to taste
Method to prepare:
- Add in some ghee in a pressure cook
- Once your ghee is hot add khade masale and cook till brown
- Time to add in onions and cook them till they are little translucent
- Once onions are cooked add other veggies and cook till tender
- After a minute add in all masalas and cook for next 2 minutes
- Soak rice for 15 minutes and once all veggies are cooked add them
- Cover rice for a minute with a lid
- Now add 2 cups water along with food color and cook rice for 3 whistles
